Derek and Nathan Manley

April 10, 2007: Sunny and cold, Water temp 55* and Clear.
Picked clients up at the dock and went to collect bait. After throwing for 3 hours I finally had enough to get started. All the bait had pulled out to the deeped channels. I went midlake and set out a spread of boards and bobbers and pulled them over 15 foot flats and only boated 1 in an hour so I decided to go after them deep, where the bait was. I put downlines in there faces and started catching fish. The bite was slow again today but we stayed with it and when all was said and done clients kept 9 nice Stripers.

Jim,

Nathan and I had tons of fun yesterday. He was talking about doing it again before we even left the parking lot. I know it was a tough day, so thanks for working hard to find us some great fish!! We hope to come back and see you again sometime soon...

Thanks again,
Derek

PS.... your bottom fishing secret is safe with us and we plan to give it a try at home!!!
