Fishing's Hot

Stewart, Bud, Doug and Ram

Sunny and Hot, Water Temperature 85* and Clear
After easily catching bait for the last 2 months we get out this morning a 3am to catch bait and 2 1/2 hours and 30 throws later all I had to show for my efforts were 75 baits. Every morning I have been starting off with 250 baits and usually by 10 we have gone through all of them. I looked for about an hour after picking the guys up at 5:30 and finally made a throw and caught 200 in my net in one cast. Well, we had bait now and it was time to get serious. Today was Ram's first day ever fishing for anything so I instructed him and the other guys on how to deploy the baits and how to reel in the fish. As I was teaching them I mentioned that Ram will probably do better than everyone else because he is not set in his ways of fishing and that I had particular ways of doing things that put fish in the boat. He did not let me down today, he caught most of the fish! We hit 5 or 6 different sets of fish this morning and everyone had a ball reeling in Stripers. Although the temperatures are getting hot outside the fishing is getting hotter. We got off the water in time to beat the heat.

Jim is an excellent instructor and guide. I was one of those set in my ways but changed my tune after paying attention and seeing results. Had an awesome time. Jim makes it exciting and fun and truly knows his stuff not to mention every inch of the lake.

Thanks for an awesome day!

I strongly recommend you give Jim a call if you really want to catch fish and have a great time and laughs doing it.

Thank you Jim!

Stewart is absolutely right about Jim! As a first timer, i couldnt have asked for a better tutor. Jim was thorough and encouraging! Morever he knew exactly where the fish were and helped me catch quite a few! I am super excited to fish again!
