Brian did not have to work today due to the rain so he called me to go out and fish this afternoon. We caught bait and put out our spread at 3pm hoping to catch a few big fish. We took a couple hits before hooking up but once we did on a particular stretch the fish ate our offerings. By 4 o'clock the feed was over and we did not boat another fish. With in an hour we had taken a dozen hits and boated some nice fish. Guess if we started earlier it would have been like work keeping up with the fish. Todd is pictured holding the first fish of the afternoon and the guys held up a few of the fish we caught in the parking lot after dark for a quick foggy picture.
This is a journal of my Lake Anna striper fishing experiences. I have a striper guide service on Lake Anna. If interested, please visit www.jimhemby.com for more information. I'll keep this blog strictly about the fishing conditions. Enjoy! All photos in my blog posts are clickable, so you can see a larger version.
