Today I took Anthony and his sons out for some catching. We had a cold front blow through yesterday so I was prepared to do what it took to put fish in the boat. I set out 10 planner boards and 6 downlines and simply kept the baits wet. We caught fish from 5 to 15 feet deep and had almost constant action. I don't think the boys were expecting to be so busy but they did excellent and caught most of the fish that hooked up. We all had a great time, kept a few fish to eat and threw back too many to count. Bryan took out Bubba and Donald for a few hours in the afternoon and caught a bunch of nice fish as well. We have experienced a slow February and March but April fishing is coming on strong. The lake is behind about a month so expect to see fishing the next few months to be excellent..
