This morning was a simply cold 25 degrees. Yesterday a cold front blew through with 27* in the morning and 20 mph winds. It was so bad yesterday we had three charters and by 8am the clients from two of the boats tapped out and asked to call it quits! Anyway my clients that I had scheduled for this morning tapped out as well because they had small children so Lee and I decided to call our Interstate Battery sponsor and set up a trip for this afternoon. We picked them up at their dock at 2 and went looking for Stripers. After a couple hours of fishing we had caught 10 keepers which was plenty for us to make many wonderful tasting dinners. Cold fronts are always very hard to fish but our Pro's understand the fishery and work hard to make your day successful. Fishing is great this year and will only get better.
