We have five guides that are experts on locating and catching Stripers and are ready to take you and your group out for a memorable day on beautiful Lake Anna. We guide out of comfortable Tri-toon and Pontoon boats and supply everything to put fish in the boat. We primarily use live bait which we try to catch before your arrival. A change in weather with cold East winds put a damper on fishing

yesterday but Don and Bryan figured out the changes and put some

nice fish in the boat. Bait collection was poor in the early am hours 

making things even more difficult. Today's 30 mph gusts will be a 

challenge. This was the first day in a while we did not boat a Citation.

Today was a special day taking out these four energetic boys to 

catch Stripers on Lake Anna. Although we had a bad wind and 

plenty of rain today it did not dampen their enthusiasm. We caught 

about 25 Stripers and 6 Catfish which kept them busy. Steed continued

our daily run on boating Citations with his 25 inch Hybrid which gave 

him a good fight. We are on the verge of changing to summer paterns

which produces the best fishing of the year. Stripers school by the 

thousands in the summer. We start the mornings off with a minimum

of 200 baits with our catches ranging from 50 to 150 Stripers per 

morning. Our best morning was a couple of years ago in late May 

when I took five anglers out and caught 270 Stripers by 1 o'clock!

This time of year you need at least four anglers to even begin to handle

Today I took Jack and Kathy out for some fun but after the first

15 minutes they realized they were going to have to work to keep 

up with all  he action. Two anglers simply can't keep up with the 

action when these Stripers are feeding. They did well considering

it was just two of them and in the process managed to catch a

Citation Hybrid. Don took the kids out as well and they caught

a nice limit of Stripers. Want to go out and catch a bunch of

Today Don, Bryan and myself took our clients out and laid the 

smack down on the fish today. JJ caught 3 Citations within an 

hour this morning, Don's crew banged that big Striper and a 

Citation Hybrid, and Bryan shocked his clients with constant 

early morning action and limited out before they knew what hit 

them. This is what we do folks, we put our clients on nice

respectable keeper fish. We keep our limits if our clients enjoy

eating fish and we release at least that many more every day to

I took Patrick Striper fishing for the first time and the fish

he reels in is a Citation! I bet he is hooked.

Today Bryan and I had charters so we got out early and caught bait for our clients. I started out pulling Planner boards with a couple downlines as well and took hits immediately. Within 30 minutes we boated a dozen Stripers then the bite shut down. Bryan missed out on the early bite because they did not start fishing till 8 o'clock. We fished till noon and boated 32 Stripers and Wipers, Bryan stayed out a little longer and had a great day to but had to deal with boat traffic.
