Today Bryan, Tony and Don had charters and were out very early catching bait for their clients. For the next couple of months we like to have between 200 and 250 Herring in the tank before picking our clients up at 5:30am. Why do we need so many baits? Usually this time of year the action is off the charts taking hundreds of hits. It is not uncommon on good days to catch over a hundred Stripers, keeping only our limits if our clients want Fish to eat and releasing the rest to fight another day. We use circle hooks so the fish get hooked in the side of the mouth and can be released unharmed. June, July and August are incredible months to fish beautiful Lake Anna. The action is so intense we need at least 4 anglers [we can take 6] to keep up with the action. Get the family out of the house and enjoy a memorable day catching fish with the Pro's.
