Sunny and Warm, Water Temperature 86* and Clear.The Rizors went out with me on Tuesday and must of had a good time because they booked another trip with us today. Thursday was my only day off this week so I called Tony and he gladly took them out. I had told Tony that these guys enjoyed live bait fishing and that I had taught them exactly how to deploy the baits and how important it was to get the all the baits out within a minute after I stopped the motor to show a school of bait to hold the school of Stripers around the boat. The first thing Tony said when he walked into my house this afternoon and handed me his camera was that whatever I had said to them sunk in because on their first set up they literally "spanked" a school of Stripers. For about 30 minutes they enjoyed multiple hookups with constant action. His words were "It was total Madness". The bite was hot the first thing this morning then the fish turned off for the rest of the day. This is pretty common this time of year. The Rizors are here on vacation this week and will take back some great memories of Lake Anna with them along with plenty of Striper filets. Adam is holding up a bass he caught this morning.

For those of you that might be lucky enough to read this post, Jim Hemby guides is the real deal. Not only are these guys amazing people but the are without question professional as they come. My son Adam and I had two trips with the guys this week and hauled about 160 Lbs of strips off the lake. Lake Anna stripper fishing and the way Jims has perfeted live bait fishing on this fishery is simply nothing short of world class. If people knew that this fishery produced this kind of results folks would travel from around the world for this experiance. If your contemplating a trip on Anna do yourself a favor and BOOK IT. If Jim's booked don't hesitate to ask for his guide Tony. He showed Adam and I an outstanding time. WOW is all I can say. Thanks to Jim and Tony for such a wonderful experiance for Father and Son. An Annual trip from here on out.
