Sunny and Warm, Water Temperature 56* and Clear.
After catching bait I picked the guys up at the dock at 6:30 and headed for the fishing grounds. I set out 15 rods rigged with the prettiest baits of the season and pulled them for over 8 hours today. Fishing was slow, I knew 4 other fisherman on the water who did not fair very well today. We had 14 hookups and the guys boated 13 0f the 14 , a great percentage considering some previous trips that I have had recently. The boat traffic was bad today, this being the first 80* weekend every nut that owns a boat will be out from today through Monday. The Stripers will definitely get shook up the next few days. I will be out the next couple of days trying to dodge boats, hopefully a few fish will want to eat.
